Family History Initiative

U.S. Surgeon General's Family History Initiative
The Family History Initiative was designed to "encourage all American families to learn more about their family health history."  The site includes FAQs and a downloadable Family Health Portrait to help you gather medical information.  The Family History Initiative is provided by the Department of Health and Human Services.

Get soda out of your child's school!

The American Academy of Pediatrics is asking for your help in the effort to remove soft drinks from school cafeterias. To get soda out of the schools, print out this letter and send it to your child's school principal and school district board. Also, talk to your pediatrician about it and ask them about their level of involvement on this issue.
